Frank R. Williams III

About the author

Frank R. Williams III grew up in Kenmore, N.Y. He graduated from: Erie County Technical Institute (A.A.S.), Buffalo State University College (B.S.) and Trinity College and Seminary (M.A.).

Frank spent 30 years in contract food service management from assistant manager to interim western area president for a major contract food service management company. Frank moved on and formed Hospitality Dining Associates, a management consultation group.

Frank currently serves as the business manager for Bible Presbyterian Church of Grand Island, NY, Sunday school superintendent, elder and trustee. Frank served as an officer with the Grand Island Conservative Party. A graduate of Leadership Buffalo, Frank served on the board of directors for Meals on Wheels of Western New York and The Niagara Frontier Vocational Rehabilitation Center, and advisory boards for Rochester Institute of Technology, Villa Maria College, Buffalo State’s Food Science and Nutrition Department and Emerson Vocational High School.

Frank serves as treasurer of the Bible Presbyterian Great Lakes Presbytery and the Bible Presbyterian Church Synod. Frank was instrumental helping start Grand Island Christian School, and was the first board president.

Frank enjoys teaching and served as an assistant professor at Erie Community College and adjunct professor at Buffalo State University College. Frank taught Sunday school over 35 years and has taught financial budgeting classes at his church.

Frank was recipient of several community service awards including the outstanding community service award from 1490 Enterprises of Buffalo, NY, outstanding service award from Bible Presbyterian Church, hall of distinction award at Kenmore East High School and outstanding alumni award from Erie Community College.

A decorated veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he earned a commendation medal for meritorious service during the Vietnam era and was recognized with the largest suggestion financial award given up to1966.

Frank is married to Florence Ann (Farrell). They have 3 married children, Frank IV (Donalie), John (Joy) and Kimberley Wolcott (Jeremy), 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
